Off Road Consulting - Safety & Recovery Class

Join Off Road Consulting and OSV Count for a safe, fun experience on Assateague Island's OSV Zone. By the end of this class you will have an understanding of driving on various sand conditions, tire pressure, vehicle tow attachment points and methods of recovery relating to your vehicle. Various recovery and other equipment will be demonstrated throughout the class including products from WARN, Factor 55, Deadman Off-road, Custom Splice, J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators, Quadratec and MAXTRAX!

Morning Class: 9am - 12pm [SOLD OUT]
Afternoon Class: 1pm - 4pm

*Please only register for one class. If either class does not meet expected registration levels, we reserve the right to combine both classes into one.

How much does this cost?
Thanks to the amazing support of Off Road Consulting and the Hilton Oceanfront Suites, this class will be free to all of our members!

Do I need to register?
Yes! Space is limited. We want to accommodate as many people as possible but must limit class sizes to 40 vehicles.We will hold a morning class and an afternoon class. If both classes are full, you can still register for our waitlist.We will fill any cancellations with people from the wait list. Those who have not registered in advance will not be permitted to attend the class.

Where can I register?
Registration opens April 6th at 7am. You can find a registration link here and on facebook at that time.

Where is the class held?
KM16 on the OSV zone. Once you enter the OSV turn left. You'll see the OSV Count check in booth.Please park along the shoreline leaving enough room for others. We have a lot of vehicles attending and space is limited.

What do I do when I arrive?
Park your vehicle and head to the OSV Count check in booth. All attendees must be registered in advance. In order to expedite the check-in process, please fill out our online waiver. This waiver is in addition to our disclaimer during checkout.

What do i bring?
Pack like any other day on the OSV. Bring sunscreen, bugspray, water, snacks and your recovery gear.

Do I need an OSV permit?
Yes. You will need to have an OSV permit and pay the park entrance fee.

Can you recommend a hotel?
Yes! Consider staying at the Hilton Oceanfron Suites or any of the great hotels found at ocmdhotels.com. Their support allows up to organize great events like this one.
